Pacoima
Pacoima is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the northern San Fernando Valley. A portion of Van Nuys Boulevard in Pacoima is designated “Mural Mile”, with more than 50 beautiful murals representing Pacoima’s diverse cultures in a three-mile radius. Pacoima is also the birthplace of musician Ritchie Valens, and a mural is painted in his honor at the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Amboy Avenue.
