Los Angeles, CA –  Join Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez this upcoming Sunday, May 26th, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Brand Park in Mission Hills as Council District 7 commemorates Memorial Day with a concert in the park featuring the world-renowned 1st Marine Division Band.

In partnership with the Port of Los Angeles for LA Fleet Week, Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez honors our fallen heroes by bringing the first Fleet Week celebration to the San Fernando Valley. The celebration will also include a resource fair for veterans and their families.

“I’m proud to host the first fleet week celebration in the San Fernando Valley in partnership with our Port of Los Angeles to celebrate our active duty military personnel and honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.. As we see instability around the world, we must take these moments to reflect and thank those that serve and have served for the courage and dedication to securing our nation here and abroad. ,” says Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez.
