Los Angeles, CA –  Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez presents the West Lakeside Street Park Summer Concert in Sylmar on Friday, August 30, 2024. The event will feature performances from local musicians, a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy an evening filled with live music, kids activities, food trucks, and community engagement.

 

The free concert will take place in the 6-acre West Lakeside Street Park and will run from 5:00 PM until sunset. Since taking office, Councilwoman Rodriguez has been committed to bringing world-class, free events to the community, providing families with fun and memorable experiences close to home. This park opened approximately one year ago and Councilwoman Rodriguez is thrilled to activate it with this event that will feature performances from local artists including the Hadden School Elementary Mariachi Group, Mission College Opera and the B & C Band.
