At the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, Nov. 10, Morrissey was presented a framed certificate by Los Angeles City Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, declaring the day to be “Morrissey Day” in the city of Los Angeles. The ceremony took place prior to opening act Billy Idol taking the stage at the Bowl. The concert was the first of two nights at Hollywood Bowl and comes in support of Morrissey’s latest album, Low in High School, due out Nov. 17.
